30 GAMES IN 20 DAYS???

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

I just went on a ten hour bender flipping schedules, checking flights, map logistics.  Unbelievably I will now attempt a 30 Baseball Games in 20 Days World Record Bid.  There are 10 doubleheader attempts in this streak—or 66.67% of the trip.  Realistically I don’t think I will connect on all of them, however I could make 8/10.  Here it is.

During the trip, I will be wearing an NYPD hat and asking people to donate to the Mothers of 911 victims.  They run the memorial site, organize tours and help with supporting the families all affected.

April.27/28/29 has games for DH makeup’s BAL/NYY/CWS/STL/TEX.

New York Mets miss on April.09 would make Apr.05 game #1 of the streak-I would add a bye to Apr.22 for ARI, because they would be game #2 on Apr.06.

Washington Nationals miss on April.16 would be made up Apr.17 and move the Miami Marlins to Apr.27-Apr.29 weekend depending on others missed.

Milwaukee Brewers miss on Apr.21 would be made up Apr.22 and ARI game on Apr.06 would be made game #. San Diego Padres attempts of Apr.07 and Apr.10-should I miss both I would fly right t hrough to SD on Apr.22 (it is the second leg of my flight from ORD to PHX anyway as I am walking out of the layover stop in Arizona instead of going to San Diego),  the option works for both cities. Arizona would become game#1 from April.06.

Detroit Tigers miss on 26th would mean I would have to wait till April.30 and take a 3 day donut if I had no other misses, however if I am in good enough shape I can opt to stay in Detroit  April 27th games.  Then I  would carry on to CWS and CIN on consecutive days to still break record with a 30-23.  I hope I will have the option to decide.

About chuckbooth3023

I played competitive baseball until 18 years old and had offers to play NCAA Division 1 University Baseball at Liberty University. Post-concussion symptoms from previous football and baseball head injuries forced me to retire by age 19. After two nearly made World Record Attempts in 2008, I set a New World Record by visiting all 30 MLB Parks (from 1st to last pitch) in only 24 Calendar Days in the summer 0f 2009. In April of 2012, I established yet another new GWR by visiting all 30 Parks in only 23 Calendar Days! You can see the full schedule at the page of the www.mlbreports.com/gwr-tracker . In 2015, I watched 224 MLB Games, spanning all 30 MLB Parks in 183 Days. Read about that World Record Journey at http://mlbreports.com/183in2015/229sked2015/
