Game #14 Day #9  @ 8:05 PM Yankees vs Angels (ESPN)

Probable Pitchers:

NYY-TBD

LAA-TBD

Douglas ‘Chuck’ Booth (Baseball Writer)-This whole trip is really like building dominoes, one wrong move and they could all come crashing down.  The good news is I have options should I miss my flight in from Toronto.  I have passes from Air Canada that I can re-direct to Boston for the early morning game on Patriots Day the next day.

The Yankees are my favorite team though so lets not talk about missing any of their games.  What a match, the Yankees host Albert Pujols and the Angels on the ESPN Sunday Night Game. I am meeting up with my Baltimore Oriole Expert Roger Ratzenberger.  I am also meeting up with Gary Herman, who is my Yankee Stadium Expert.  Added to this stellar list is RJ Breisacher who is on a 30 MLB Park mission himself- click here  .This will be another great meeting of the minds.

Ordinarily I would be ordering a Nathan’s hotdog or a NYY Steak Sandwich, however I need to ride a Greyhound Bus after the game so I am going to take it easy.  I plan on returning to Yankee Stadium for another game after the streak is over to dine on this park’s food.  I will be arriving via taxi from LGA.  Provided I make my flight, it should be a smooth ride in.

I will be exuberant for role call.  I made this same doubleheader in 2009 with an aided rain delay in my favor.  My ticket only cost $22.  Seriously this is New York City.  I couldn’t even go to the skills contest for that amount for my local NHL Hockey team in Vancouver.  $22 is outstanding!!  This will be my 3rd game at new Yankee Stadium and my 10th overall in New York for the Pinstripers.  My bus leaves from downtown at 3 AM for Boston on April.16, so even a usual Yanks 4 hour game is alright here.  I have backup travel plans if I get pushed here.  Gary Herman is also going to that Boston game the next day on April.16.

About chuckbooth3023

I played competitive baseball until 18 years old and had offers to play NCAA Division 1 University Baseball at Liberty University. Post-concussion symptoms from previous football and baseball head injuries forced me to retire by age 19. After two nearly made World Record Attempts in 2008, I set a New World Record by visiting all 30 MLB Parks (from 1st to last pitch) in only 24 Calendar Days in the summer 0f 2009. In April of 2012, I established yet another new GWR by visiting all 30 Parks in only 23 Calendar Days! You can see the full schedule at the page of the www.mlbreports.com/gwr-tracker . In 2015, I watched 224 MLB Games, spanning all 30 MLB Parks in 183 Days. Read about that World Record Journey at http://mlbreports.com/183in2015/229sked2015/
